History of the Building
- First mentioned in 1663 - From 1731 to 1774 a single-family house with a tool forge for shoemaker’s tools and a burning forge - Later converted into a guesthouse and lodging house - The building was repurposed and remodeled several times - Around 1900, the originally single-story building was extended with an upper floor - In 1928–1929, the kitchen was expanded for the first time - In the 1950s, the veranda was added - The house remained in private ownership until 1977 - In 1977, the trade union purchased the property and converted it into a catering facility for holiday guests, serving 160 guests daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner - In 1991, we acquired the house and converted it into a hotel with modern rooms, breakfast room, fireplace lounge, and the “Jägerstube” restaurant - The property also includes a large garden with a barbecue area and sunbathing lawn
